Higurashi: When They Cry - Outbreak

In 1983, the rural village of Hinamizawa is placed under quarantine after authorities uncover a mysterious, lethal virus. Cut off from the outside world, Keiichi Maebara and his friends—Mion Sonozaki and Rena Ryuuguu among them—are left reeling as fear and confusion spread through their once-familiar home.

As residents scramble to contain the outbreak, desperation pushes some toward extreme measures. With paranoia mounting and danger closing in from multiple directions, Keiichi’s group searches for a way out of Hinamizawa, unsure who can be trusted—or whether everyone will survive the attempt.
