Set in a distant future ravaged by celestial conflict, the story unfolds in a realm where eight moons, bestowed by the savior Fuse, orbit the sacred land of the divine. Following the conclusion of a brutal war, the Oowari family emerges as the sole rulers, with the last surviving son commanding the moons, save for Meiten—the moon of the pope, a sanctuary untouched by violence.

This narrative follows eight chosen individuals, each hailing from one of the moons and linked by their possession of elemental jewels that embody the essence of Earth. These heroes, bound by sacrifice and duty, are determined to fulfill their mission for Queen Fuse, who has entrusted them with the fate of humanity. As the tyrannical emperor Kai threatens to resurrect a malevolent spirit intent on thwarting Earth's restoration, these warriors must harness their unique powers in a fierce struggle to reclaim their world. Their journey leads them to the Kusanagi, a pivotal vessel at the heart of the divine realm, where they must unite their jewels within the Yatsufusa key to forge a new beginning for Earth.
