After a demanding tour and the release of their eighth album, "DUM SPIRO SPERO," the acclaimed Japanese rock band Dir en Grey took a break from the spotlight. A year and a half later, they made a striking comeback with the single "RINKAKU," unveiled on December 19th, 2012. This release marked a new chapter for the band, showcasing their evolution while retaining their distinctive sound.

In a return collaboration, animator Keita Kurosaka crafted a hand-drawn music video for "RINKAKU." While it presents a visually captivating experience, it contrasts sharply with the more shocking imagery of their previous work together, "Agitated Screams of Maggots." This latest visual piece invites viewers into a hauntingly beautiful world that complements the band's atmospheric music, creating an evocative blend of sound and art.
