With spring giving way to summer, Makoto Yuuki stays with the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES) as they continue their nightly battles against Shadows. Their work grows more complicated when they run into Strega—rogue Persona users determined to preserve the Dark Hour for their own ends—hinting at answers to what the phenomenon truly is.

During summer break on Yakushima, SEES gains an unexpected new companion: Aegis, an android built to eliminate Shadows who has no memory of her past.
