Hakuya Mitsumine lands an unexpected prize in a lucky draw: hot spring travel tickets he can use anywhere. At Mashiro’s request, he chooses a particular village onsen—one whispered about for strange rumors and supposed sightings of mysterious creatures nearby—then sets off with Mashiro and a few friends to see what the place is really like.

Curiosity quickly pulls the group into the surrounding forest in search of proof, but the night doesn’t go as planned.
