Initial D Final Stage

Project D’s last showdown pits Takumi Fujiwara against Kanagawa’s street racing crew, Sidewinder—and the matchup comes with an unexpected rival. Waiting on the mountain pass is Shinji Inui, a 17-year-old high schooler who started driving young, knows the course inside out, and pilots a Toyota AE86 just like Takumi’s.

Shinji doesn’t jump into the challenge with much enthusiasm at first, but watching the intense clash between Keisuke Takahashi and Gou Houjou sparks his resolve. Undefeated on his home route, the Tsubaki Line, Shinji steps forward as a daunting final test for Takumi.
