After five decades, the Scientific Boys Club embarks on an ambitious project to construct a spacecraft capable of navigating the so-called "Ethereal Current," a concept introduced by the wife of one of their own members. This journey to Mars aims to validate an old hypothesis regarding the existence of Martian-made channels, despite the prevailing belief that life once existed there has long been discredited.

Years later, as the theories of both the Ethereal Current and the Martian channels fade into the realm of folklore, a new expedition to Mars uncovers an intriguing artifact: a stone etched with the words "Scientific Boys Club 1954."
