Synopsis
Set in 2027, one year after the close of the non-nuclear World War IV, a bombing in Newport City leaves a prominent arms dealer dead—an incident that may be connected to the shadowy 501 Organization. As suspicion spreads, the case draws the attention of Public Security.
Daisuke Aramaki brings in Motoko Kusanagi, a full-body cyber-prosthesis user known for her exceptional hacking skills, to dig into the attack and the forces behind it.
