Tsukimonogatari

With college entrance exams looming, Koyomi Araragi tries to keep his head down—until a quiet, unsettling change catches his attention: his reflection has vanished from the mirror, an ominous sign associated with true vampires. Alarmed by what it could mean for his already-fragile balance between human and supernatural, he turns to the humanlike doll Yotsugi Ononoki and her handler, the immortal oddity specialist Yozuru Kagenui.

Kagenui quickly identifies the problem and lays out a stark ultimatum. Araragi must either stop relying on the vampiric powers he gained through Shinobu Oshino, or accept the consequence of surrendering his humanity for good.
