Ani*Kuri15 is a collection of 15 one-minute animated shorts created by a wide range of talent from Japan’s animation industry. Its name combines “anime” and “creators,” reflecting the anthology’s emphasis on individual voices and styles.

Across three seasons, the lineup features contributions from artists and directors including Shinji Kimura, Shōjirō Nishimi, Akemi Hayashi, Osamu Kobayashi, Yasufumi Soejima, Atsushi Takeuchi, Mamoru Oshii, Kazuto Nakazawa, Ranji Murata with Tatsuya Yabuta, Tobira Oda with Yasuyuki Shimizu, Michael Arias, Makoto Shinkai, Shōji Kawamori, Mahiro Maeda, and Satoshi Kon—each delivering a distinct short with its own title and approach.
