On her first day of high school, Eri Kumagai is unexpectedly enchanted by a girl’s enchanting voice, only for the moment to be interrupted when the girl accidentally steps on a cat's tail. This fleeting encounter fades into the background of Eri's mind until she finds herself face-to-face with the same girl in her classroom. Late and flustered, the girl introduces herself as Haru Chitose, claiming that her real name is actually Chiharu Yuzuka, a detail that catches Eri off guard.

Eri quickly learns that she can't escape Haru’s quirky charm, especially since they share a dorm room. Haru's antics often lead to frustration, particularly when she discovers Eri’s secret talent as an online composer. Intrigued by Eri’s music, Haru is eager to collaborate, while Eri remains resistant to the idea.
