Second-year Yuki Kurihara finally works up the nerve to confess to her underclassman crush, Shinya “Momo” Momotsuki—after months of watching him from a distance and snapping a hundred secret photos. Momo, caught off guard but gentle and bashful, agrees to date her without realizing what’s been going on behind the scenes. As Yuki’s no-nonsense friend Norika Mizuyama has noticed, Yuki’s feelings come with some genuinely unsettling habits: covert photography, deep dives into Momo’s personal life, keeping his used straws, and dedicated “Momo watching.”

Momo stays largely unaware of the extent of Yuki’s obsession, even if their conversations sometimes feel a little off. Nervous and inexperienced in his first relationship, he stumbles into awkward moments yet keeps trying to figure out how to make Yuki happy. Momokuri traces the pair’s tentative steps into young love—and the complications that come with it.
