Aim for the Ace!: The Movie

Freshman Hiromi enters high school with a passion for tennis, inspired by the graceful prowess of senior player Ryuzaki, affectionately known as "Ochoufujin" or "Madame Butterfly." As she joins the tennis club, her admiration for Ryuzaki and the sport itself is put to the test when the new coach, Jin Munakata, unexpectedly selects her to compete in an upcoming tournament. Faced with pressure and self-doubt, Hiromi contemplates stepping away from tennis altogether.

However, a deeper love for the game stirs within her, prompting a return to the court. Under Munakata's guidance, Hiromi begins to unlock her potential, transforming her skills and confidence as a player. Along the way, an emotional bond emerges between her and Munakata, who is quietly grappling with a serious health issue that adds further depth to their connection. Through determination and resilience, Hiromi learns not only about the sport but also about the strength found in relationships and personal growth.
