Yume Nijino embarks on an exciting journey at Four Stars Academy, an esteemed institution renowned for nurturing aspiring idols, including the illustrious S4 group. As a new student, Yume is eager to uncover her unique talents amidst her peers, each of whom is also on a quest to specialize in areas like beauty, singing, dancing, or drama. The path to success is challenging, and the newcomers must support one another to overcome obstacles and develop their individual strengths.

During their inaugural performances, Yume dazzles the audience but unexpectedly faints, leaving her with no memory of her stage debut. In her search for self-discovery, she encounters Rola "Laura" Sakuraba, sparking a friendly rivalry that fuels their growth as they push each other to improve.
