Basilisk: The Ouka Ninja Scrolls

A decade after the bloody conflict between the Iga and Kouga ninja clans, an uneasy peace has taken hold, and the old hatred is said to have faded. With their houses no longer at war, Hachirou Kouga and Hibiki Iga—heirs to their respective lineages—finally have room for their feelings to grow, even as lingering resentment simmers beneath the surface.

Conflicting accounts of the last duel between Gennosuke Kouga and Oboro Iga continue to circulate, and Tokugawa Tadanaga, the lord once backed by the Kouga, is left dissatisfied. As political pressures mount and suspicion returns, the fragile truce begins to crack, threatening to pull the clans back into violence and place Hachirou and Hibiki on opposite sides of history once again.
