In a realm where sorcery and monsters shape everyday life, Krylancelo Finrandi and his foster sister, Azalie Cait-Sith, once stood out as gifted students at the renowned Tower of Fangs. A disastrous magical experiment, however, leaves Azalie grotesquely transformed—her human form lost, replaced by that of a dragon.

Rather than accept responsibility, the Tower’s elders choose secrecy and self-preservation, casting Azalie out and burying the truth. Disillusioned, Krylancelo abandons the institution, adopts the name Orphen, and dedicates himself to finding a way to return Azalie to normal. Five years on, his search has yielded little—until fate brings him back to Azalie, with no cure in hand and a group of sorcerers closing in, forcing old ties and unresolved betrayals to resurface as he races to protect her.
