League of Nations Air Force Aviation Magic Band Luminous Witches

As the unified world continues its fight for freedom against the alien Neuroi, gifted young girls known as witches remain on the front lines. With the long war wearing down spirits, Grace Maitland Steward—a retired witch still serving in the army—puts forward an unorthodox proposal: use music as vital support to bolster morale and help shift the course of the conflict.

Her superiors dismiss the idea, so Grace sets out to prove its worth herself. Teaming up with Aila Paivikki Linnamaa and Eleonore Giovanna Gassion, two witches already recognized for their singing, she begins gathering talent to establish the League of Nations Air Force’s Music Squadron. Seven candidates emerge from the search, including 14-year-old Virginia Robertson, whose lack of military experience is outweighed by an extraordinary potential that can’t be ignored.
