Beatless Final Stage

Arato Endou reunites with his devoted hIE, Lacia, determined to prove that even the most advanced artificial intelligence can be brought to a safe stop. Their resolve leads them down into a containment facility, where they set out to face Higgins—the creator behind Lacia’s AI.

The descent quickly turns into a multi-front struggle. Snowdrop, a runaway hIE intent on consuming Higgins, closes in, while Methode pursues Lacia with revenge in mind. At the same time, the world’s super-intelligent AIs reach a unanimous verdict: Lacia must be eliminated as a danger to humanity. With time running out and threats converging, Arato and Lacia fight for a future where humans and hIEs can truly coexist.
