Subaru Natsuki finally catches a moment to relax and immediately puts it to use, planning a long-awaited date with Emilia. Determined to make it special, he canvasses the nearby village for the perfect spot and, with a little help from the local children, settles on an ideal location.

But on the day it’s meant to happen, an unexpected cold snap rolls over Roswaal’s mansion, forcing Subaru to call it off. By the next morning the chill has turned severe, and with the temperature dropping fast, Subaru sets out to uncover what’s causing it—before the weather becomes a far bigger problem than a postponed date.
