Ruby, Garnet, and their fellow jewel-eyed companions embark on an unexpected adventure as they set off on a school trip to Sichuan Province, China, accompanied by their teacher, Iruka. As they explore the sights and sounds of this vibrant region, the excitement of discovery is palpable.

However, the journey takes a curious turn when the group begins to notice unsettling traits in their tour conductor, driver, and guide.
