In 1989, Hinomoto is rebuilding after being thrown into turmoil during the last world war. A wave of technological progress—aircraft, gasoline engines, and geomagnetic innovations—has transformed travel across the country, leaving railways pushed aside in favor of faster, more modern options.

Determined to restore trains to their former prominence, the “Raillords” gather in Ohitoyo City for a Raillord Summit. These lively girls serve as humanoid control modules tied to their respective lines, with Suzushiro of Manoka Railways leading the meeting. Working together, they set out to put rail transport back on the map and open the way to a renewed era for the railroads.
