Digimon Adventure:

In 2020, a single global network links nearly every digital device, carrying data across the world. Unknown to humanity, that vast system has also become a habitat for living digital creatures called Digimon.

As fifth-grader Taichi Yagami gets ready for summer camp, Tokyo is hit by a wave of bizarre malfunctions. When his mother and younger sister are caught aboard a train that won’t stop, Taichi races to the station—only to be suddenly pulled into the Network itself. There he encounters Agumon, a peculiar Digimon who already knows his name, and receives a Digivice that lets him connect with the real world.

With virus-like Digimon striking at the areas that keep Tokyo’s electronic infrastructure running, Taichi and Agumon are forced into action. Their fight to halt the spreading cyberattacks quickly becomes a race to protect far more than the city’s systems.
