Petit Eva: Evangelion@School

*Petit Eva: Evangelion@School* is billed as the first official super-deformed take on the *Neon Genesis Evangelion* universe, bringing its cast into a light school-comedy setting. Set at Tokyo-3’s Nerv School, the spinoff plays as a parody of the original’s psychological sci-fi tone, with Gendō Ikari as principal and Misato as a teacher.

Familiar faces are reimagined as classmates and campus personalities, including three different “Rei sisters.” Even the EVA-01 mobile weapon is recast as the school bully “Evanchō,” while the Jet Alone robot appears as JA-ko, a shy android girl described as a “hidden character.”

Character designs by Ryuusuke Hamamoto also inspired four-panel gag manga runs in *Monthly Shōnen Ace*, *Newtype*, *Dengeki Hobby Magazine*, and *Figure Oh*, alongside a range of merchandise from super-deformed figures to limited-edition Doritos corn chips.
