Shenmue the Animation

Set in Yokosuka in 1985, Ryo Hazuki has spent his life honing the Hazuki Style Jujitsu under the demanding guidance of his father at the Hazuki Dojo. That routine is shattered when a mysterious man named Lan Di kills his father and steals a “mirror” the elder Hazuki had been guarding.

Driven to uncover what truly happened, Ryo begins investigating the murder and is soon drawn into conflict involving underground organizations. His search leads him beyond Yokosuka and onward to Hong Kong, marking the start of a long, perilous journey.
