WAVE!! -Let's go surfing!!-

Fourteen-year-old Masaki Hinaoka starts his mornings with a run along the shoreline, corgi in tow, until he’s stopped in his tracks by the sight of a blond surfer gliding across the waves with effortless grace. That fleeting moment turns into something more when the surfer appears again at school—Shou Akitsuki, Masaki’s new classmate.

Shou has been around surfing since he was a child, and while Masaki’s laid-back, half-Hawaiian best friend Nalu Tanaka already treats the ocean like home, Masaki has never felt the pull of the sport. Inspired by Shou’s style, he finally decides to try surfing himself, even though he can’t swim. To his surprise, Masaki takes to the board with natural balance, learns fast with Shou and Nalu beside him, and works his way toward a local competition—unaware that Shou’s gentle expression hides troubles that could spill into the lives of those closest to him.
