"Deji" Meets Girl

Sixteen-year-old Maise Higa expects a quiet, uneventful summer while helping out part-time at her family’s hotel. Her routine shifts when she crosses paths with Ichirou Suzuki, an enigmatic boy followed by unsettling, otherworldly phenomena.

After meeting him, Maise is drawn into a reality where the hotel’s ordinary spaces become anything but—guest rooms can open into the depths of the ocean, and banyan trees may suddenly appear indoors. Fascinated by what she’s witnessing, she chooses to stay by Ichirou’s side as he searches for answers to the mysteries that cling to him.
