In Japan, horse racing stands out as one of the few legal avenues for gambling, making public races a distinctive part of the country’s culture. At the center of the sport are jockeys—riders who partner with their horses to compete—and Yuu Arimura sets his sights on joining their ranks.

After being moved by a derby, 15-year-old idol Yuu stuns the nation by walking away from show business to enter an elite horse racing school. As he throws himself into training, he begins to connect with classmates like the gifted Shun Kazanami and the confident Amane Grace, each bringing their own strengths and personalities to the track.
