**Moriarty the Patriot OVA** presents two standalone stories that expand William James Moriarty’s world with equal parts intrigue and wit. In “Reminiscence of Lilies,” a report about a defaced painting draws William’s attention—he recognizes the artist as someone he knew from his childhood in the slums. Traveling to Bath with his brother Louis to uncover the vandal’s identity, William finds a troubling inconsistency: the person claiming to be the painter isn’t the man he remembers. With Sherlock Holmes and John H. Watson at his side, he follows the trail of evidence to locate the truth behind his missing acquaintance.

“Moriarty Family’s Day Off” shifts to the Moriarty residence, where an elegant tea party becomes an unexpected crisis. The famously private household conceals weapons, research, and other instruments tied to their clandestine work, and a visit from inquisitive—if enamored—aristocratic ladies threatens to expose everything. To keep their operations hidden, the entire group must coordinate their talents and defend the secrets of their home.
