Synopsis
Ittoki Sakuraba has never understood why his mother, his uncle, and his childhood friend Kousetsu treat his safety like a full-time job—especially with Kousetsu shadowing him at school and ignoring his privacy in the name of protection. Their vigilance starts to make sense when Satomi Tsubaki, a charming second-year at his high school, asks him on a date. What seems harmless quickly turns dangerous once Ittoki visits her home and discovers she’s there to kill him—and she isn’t acting alone.
Rescued by his uncle and Kousetsu, revealed to be ninja fighters, Ittoki is finally told the truth: he is the 19th heir of the Iga, a prestigious ninja clan now targeted by their rivals, the Koga. With assassins closing in, he’s sent to the last ninja academy in Japan, Kokuten Ninja Academy, where he must learn to survive and grow into the role he never knew was his.
