Miwa Kurushima and fellow employee Yukari Higuchi are tasked with finding the right person to take over the counter bar at the renowned Hotel Cardinal. The hotel’s chairman has a single, exacting condition: the hire must be capable of creating the ultimate cocktail known as the “Glass of God.” With Miwa unsure what that demand truly entails, each promising candidate falls short under the chairman’s relentless evaluation.

Tucked away in the backstreets of Ginza sits Eden Hall, a quiet bar run by Ryuu Sasakura, a gifted bartender with an uncanny sense for what his patrons need. With modesty and care, he serves drinks that offer comfort to people carrying all kinds of burdens. When the chairman happens upon Ryuu’s work and is left speechless, he makes Eden Hall a frequent stop—determined to bring Ryuu to Hotel Cardinal—only to discover that persuading him won’t be easy, even with Miwa’s help.
