TRILLION GAME

Manabu “Gaku” Taira, a shy but highly skilled tech specialist, first crosses paths with the bold and charismatic Haru Tennouji when Haru steps in to save him from thugs. The unlikely pair quickly clicks, and years later Haru pushes Gaku—still struggling to land a job because of his timid nature—to apply with him at Dragon Bank, one of Japan’s biggest IT companies.

Their interviews catch the attention of board director Kirika Kokuryuu, who’s intrigued by how completely opposite they are. When Gaku is ultimately turned down, Haru walks out on his very first day in protest, and the two pivot to a far more audacious dream: earning a trillion dollars. With their plan dismissed by potential backers, they’re left with one unexpected opening—an offer from Kirika that could finally give their impossible ambition a real chance.
