Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture

Following the presumed death of the Holy Britannian Empire’s 99th emperor, the once-dominant power splinters and many former territories regain independence, with most aligning under the United Federation of Nations in pursuit of lasting peace. Yet pockets of the old regime endure. In Japan, a breakaway faction known as Neo-Britannia seizes control of Hokkaido after assassinating its governor, Juugo Sumeragi.

Cornered by a foe it can’t outmaneuver, Hokkaido’s resistance group, the Seven Shining Stars, turns to a risky ally: the Nameless Mercenaries. The brothers Rozé, a brilliant tactician, and Ash, a standout Knightmare pilot, are Britannian by birth but have built a reputation for shielding Japanese civilians and eliminating imperial officials. With Neo-Britannia tightening its grip, their involvement could tip the balance toward reclaiming the island—and stopping another era of oppression.
