Loner Life in Another World

Haruka, a high schooler perfectly happy keeping to himself, finds that solitude tested when he and his entire class are suddenly whisked away to another world. Each student receives skill points to spend on a selection of abilities and magic, but Haruka arrives late to the process and is left with only the castoff options no one else wanted. Even so, he adapts to starting over alone—something he insists suits him just fine.

That quiet independence doesn’t last. Haruka soon crosses paths with stranded classmates, and despite his preference to stay out of it, he can’t ignore their requests for help. As he takes them in and works to reconnect them with the rest of the class, old groups and rivalries flare up, threatening their chances of survival. Caught between wanting peace and being pulled into everyone’s problems, Haruka has to figure out how to stop the fighting and keep them together in a world that doesn’t forgive disunity.
