In a near-future Japan where children have become scarce and treated as the nation’s most precious resource, Christmas has faded into folklore. At Daikoku Welfare Academy, a tightly controlled boarding school built to educate and safeguard its students under constant supervision, Santa Claus is little more than an old story. Among adults, however, “Saint Nick” is considered a real and dangerous presence—one watched for by a dedicated Saint Nick Pursuit Unit.

Shiori Fuyumura refuses to accept the official claim that her best friend, Ichie Ono, is dead after disappearing six months earlier. Convinced that the key to finding her lies in the legend itself, she targets fellow class representative Kazushige Sanda, believing he carries the bloodline of the notorious Santa Claus. With Sanda caught off guard, Fuyumura resorts to violence in an attempt to force his supposed hidden identity to surface—no matter what it takes.
