Synopsis

Mild-mannered Koushi Shirota can hardly believe what he sees when the flawless student council president, Takane Takamine, calmly slips off her panties in the middle of class after receiving a rare 98% on a test. Before he can even process it, the score changes to a perfect 100 right in front of him. Certain it wasn’t his imagination, Shirota confronts her for an explanation.

Takamine admits she possesses an ability called Eternal Virgin Road, which lets her erase her own mistakes by removing a piece of underwear—an outrageous secret that helps preserve her image of perfection. As the only person who knows what’s really happening, Shirota is pressured into becoming her “closet,” carrying spare panties so she can use the power whenever she wants. With his resolve constantly tested, his quiet school life quickly turns into a chaotic, too-close-for-comfort arrangement with an unpredictable honor student.

Otaku Consensus

Please Put Them On, Takamine-san landed as a sharply niche ecchi title: fans responded to LIDENFILMS' polished handling of the central visual gag, Tomoe Makino's brisk 12-episode pacing, and the rare pairing of school rom-com humiliation with explicit time-manipulation mechanics. Its 6.17 MAL score and 58/100 AniList score reflect the ceiling on its appeal: the same femdom, blackmail, bullying, and nudity elements that make it memorable also make the power dynamic the most common barrier for viewers outside hard ecchi comedy.

Why You Should Watch

Watch this if you want a school ecchi comedy that treats fanservice like a rules-based supernatural system rather than background decoration. It scratches the same itch as Prison School's punishment-comedy escalation and Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro's antagonistic flirtation, but it is more openly built around femdom, coercive embarrassment, and absurd cause-and-effect mechanics. The 12-episode length keeps the setup from becoming a long grind, and the staff combination of Tomoe Makino's direction, Yuu Satou's series composition, and Takeshi Nakatsuka's music gives the show a snappy, gag-forward rhythm. Viewers looking for a gentle romance should stay away; viewers who want taboo school comedy with a supernatural loophole at its center are the exact target.

Key Characters

  • T
    Takane Takamine

Takamine is framed less as a simple perfect-girl fantasy than as a student council president whose immaculate public image turns into a tyrannical performance whenever control slips.

  • K
    Koushi Shirota

Shirota works because he is not a swaggering ecchi lead: his mild temperament makes the series' femdom, blackmail, and slapstick pressure land as escalating social panic.

What Makes It Stand Out

  • 1

LIDENFILMS produced the 12-episode TV anime, which aired in a single spring cour from April 2, 2025 to June 18, 2025.

  • 2

AniList's tag profile is unusually extreme for a school rom-com: Femdom and Nudity both sit at 95%, while Time Manipulation is listed at 90%, marking the show as a hybrid of explicit ecchi farce and supernatural rule comedy.

  • 3

The adaptation is credited to director Tomoe Makino and series composer Yuu Satou, a pairing that gives the show a compact gag structure rather than stretching its central conceit across multiple cours.

  • 4

Character design duties are split between Ryou Yamauchi and Maya Itou, a notable production choice for a series whose comedy depends heavily on body-language timing, costume changes, and reaction shots.

  • 5

Its audience footprint is larger than its score suggests: despite a MAL score of 6.17 and rank of #9862, it drew 48,073 MAL votes, reached MAL popularity #1965, and accumulated 1,012 AniList favourites.
