Pokémon: Arceus and the Jewel of Life

Long ago, as a meteor threatened to strike the Earth, the Legendary Pokémon Arceus intervened and stopped the catastrophe. The effort scattered the sixteen Plates that sustained its life force, leaving Arceus weakened and close to death. A man named Damon returned one of the Plates and helped Arceus recover, and in gratitude Arceus fashioned the Jewel of Life for the people of Michina Town—on the condition that it would one day be given back. When the townspeople refused to return it, conflict broke out, Damon lost his life, and Arceus withdrew into slumber, swearing retribution on humanity when it awoke.

Satoshi and his friends arrive in Michina Town and meet Sheena, Damon’s descendant, who claims to hold the Jewel of Life and plans to return it to Arceus. But when Arceus awakens, Sheena’s intentions aren’t enough to calm its anger. With reality itself beginning to warp and the balance of the world thrown into chaos—stirring Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina—Satoshi is forced to find a way to stop Arceus before its wrath brings ruin to humankind.
