In a world plunged into chaos by a nuclear winter, humanity's grip on civilization has slipped away, leaving behind a landscape filled with mutated species and dwindling resources. As society crumbles, survivors have erected walls to shield themselves from the horrors outside, where danger lurks in every shadow and survival hinges on violence and cunning.

Amidst this turmoil, two brothers, Ren Xiaosu and his younger sibling Yan Liuyuan, navigate the treacherous wilderness with only each other for support. Their lives take a drastic turn following the catastrophic Jingshan earthquake that devastates Wall 113, unleashing further chaos into their already shattered existence. In their desperate bid for safety, they encounter Luo Lan, a military leader, and find refuge within Wall 109.
