Komekami! Girls follows the journey of a spirited group of seven sisters, each embodying a unique aspect of the rice deity's legacy. Born from the ancient belief that seven gods dwell within a single grain of rice, these sisters find themselves on a quest after their mother, the rice-god queen, is abruptly summoned back to the celestial realm. With their home base in Usa City, located in Oita Prefecture, they set off to discover her whereabouts, teleporting to various Hachiman shrines scattered across Kyushu Island.

As they traverse the region, the sisters engage with local communities, tackling everyday challenges and deepening their understanding of food culture. Their adventures lead them into spirited cooking contests and heartwarming interactions, allowing them to grow both individually and as a united team. Through each encounter, they not only search for their mother but also forge connections that highlight the importance of tradition, family, and the joy of sharing meals.
