My Sister Momoko

Momoko navigates life at a special school, where her mental and physical disabilities often leave her feeling isolated from her twin brother, Riki, who attends a regular school. Each morning, she struggles with her feelings of frustration, longing to join him. To comfort her, her family often sings her beloved tune, "The Song of Frogs," which brings her some peace.

The dynamics shift when Momoko's encouragement helps Riki’s dodgeball team secure victory during an open classroom event. However, the victory is overshadowed by Ryuji, a classmate who harshly criticizes Riki for including his sister. In a moment of anger, Riki retaliates, setting the stage for future conflicts. As a new initiative allows Momoko to integrate into Riki’s school, her health declines, prompting her classmates, including a reluctant Ryuichi, to rally together for a relay race in her honor, aiming to lift her spirits as they face their own challenges along the way.
