Synopsis

*Yozakura Quartet: Hoshi no Umi* is an OVA adapting the manga’s “Hoshi no Umi” arc (chapters 26–34). Set in Sakurashin, it follows Rin Azuma, a jiangshi yōkai resident trying to settle into city life while working at a ramen shop.

Rin’s fragile peace is shaken when her former friend Zakuro Kurumaki arrives in Sakurashin to seize her and press her into a plan to destroy the city alongside other yōkai hunters and Enjin Hiizumi. Akina Hiizumi and the Hiizumi Life Counseling Office step in to rescue Rin, “tune” the yōkai influencing Zakuro, and keep Sakurashin safe.
