Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might

A strange object plummets to Earth and sparks a wildfire near the campsite of Son Gohan, Kuririn, Bulma, and Oolong. Even after their efforts, the damage is too great to undo by hand, so they turn to the Dragon Balls to return the forest to how it was. Not long after, unfamiliar warriors arrive at the crash site and plant a seed that rapidly grows into a towering tree—one that ravages the restored wilderness and threatens nearby cities as it spreads.

North Kaio warns Son Gokuu that the tree is the Shinseiju, a parasite-like plant that drains a planet of its nutrients until nothing remains, all while producing a fruit said to grant tremendous power to whoever eats it. With the world at risk of being reduced to a lifeless wasteland, Gokuu and his allies race to destroy the Shinseiju before it can fully take hold—only to find the task far harder than expected.
