In a ravaged future, a police assault tears through the towering headquarters of a religious cult. While surveying the aftermath, two officers uncover a mysterious winged girl—unconscious, shackled, and treated as a captive—and try to revive her. She barely stirs before specialists in protective suits swiftly take her away.

Seeing her returned to confinement, the two refuse to let the discovery end there. Determined to give her a chance at freedom, they begin planning a risky break-in at a tightly controlled research facility, committing themselves to a rescue attempt that could easily turn fatal.
