The Mysterious Cities of Gold

Set against the backdrop of 1532, Esteban is a 12-year-old orphan from Barcelona who possesses a unique ability to summon the sun, earning him the title "Child of the Sun." After the passing of his adoptive father, Esteban discovers that he was rescued as a baby from a shipwreck, and that his enigmatic medallion holds clues leading to the fabled Mysterious Cities of Gold. Driven by a desire to uncover his heritage and reunite with his true parents, he embarks on a bold journey across the New World.

Joining Esteban on his quest are Zia, an Inca girl who shares his medallion and has her own connection to the past, and Tao, a resourceful boy from the Galapagos Islands who is the last descendant of a legendary empire believed to have constructed the mythical cities. Together, they follow the path of Coyolite, the radiant star emblazoned on their medallions. As they navigate the uncharted territories of the New World, the trio encounters adventures that intertwine their destinies, while uncovering the secrets of their origins and the legendary Cities of Gold.
