Inside the MMORPG known as “The World,” a familiar pub becomes a meeting point as players gather to wait for a special event to begin. Longtime companions reconnect, even drawing back friends who seldom log in, while others take the chance to form new bonds for the first time.

At Helba’s invitation, the group sets out for the Net Slums, where the event culminates in a shared celebration—an adventure marked as much by camaraderie and comedy as by the digital mysteries of their world.
