Detective Conan Movie 09: Strategy Above the Depths

Fifteen years after a cruise ship vanished in the Pacific following a collision with an iceberg, a separate tragedy strikes: ship engineer Hideto Yashiro dies in a car accident. The link between the two incidents begins to surface aboard the luxury liner St. Aphrodite on its maiden voyage, where the past refuses to stay buried.

Kogorou Mouri joins Ran, Conan Edogawa, and the Detective Boys for a much-needed getaway courtesy of Sonoko Suzuki’s family—until a round of hide-and-seek ends with Sonoko disappearing. Soon after, the CEO of the Yashiro Group, builder of the St. Aphrodite, is discovered stabbed to death, and her father is nowhere to be found. With the investigation stalling, Conan presses forward, only for the culprit to escalate matters by threatening to blow up the ship and send everyone down with it.

As seawater pours into the hull, the motive behind the string of revenge-driven killings comes into focus. Trapped at sea with time running out, Conan and Kogorou race to unmask and stop the perpetrator before the St. Aphrodite becomes a grave for all aboard.
