Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew

Long ago, Camaron Palace was nearly wiped out by a devastating conflict, only to be spared when Sir Aaron—the True Guardian of Aura—ended the war at the cost of his own life. In remembrance of his sacrifice, an annual tournament is held to honor the legend that saved the kingdom.

Satoshi, a young trainer from Kanto, wins the latest competition and earns the right to carry a staff said to be Sir Aaron’s. From within it awakens Lucario, the Aura Pokémon and Aaron’s devoted servant—yet Lucario’s final memory is of being abandoned by his master, leaving him shaken and distrustful as he flees.

Soon after, Pikachu is suddenly taken by Mew to the fabled Tree of Beginning. Lucario alone knows the route, but his faith in humans has been broken. With time running short, Satoshi and his friends set out toward the Tree of Beginning, searching for a way to rescue Pikachu and uncover long-buried truths tied to Aura and the past.
