In a world steeped in ancient legends, Huangli Shi embodies the role of a Fangshi, a practitioner with the extraordinary ability to manipulate the seasonal cycles and predict daily fortunes. Inspired by a childhood friend, Xiao Nanzhu, a young man without direction, decides to embrace this age-old profession passed down through generations. However, instead of a sense of purpose, he finds himself overwhelmed by the weight of expectations and the ominous predictions that come with it.

As Xiao navigates his newfound responsibilities, he discovers that the line between fate and free will is perilously thin. With foreboding fortunes hinting at impending disasters, he grapples with the consequences of his actions and the mysteries that surround him. Amidst the chaos, he must confront not only the supernatural elements at play but also his own fears and aspirations as he seeks to redefine his path in life.
