Someone's Gaze

In near-future Japan, Aya Okamura lives on her own in an apartment, separated from her parents. With her mother having worked overseas since Aya was young, the family home is now kept by her aging father, Kouji, and their cat, Mii-san.

Worn out after a long day, Aya brushes off Kouji’s dinner invitation by claiming she’s still at work. Later that same night, an unexpected phone call delivers sudden news—one that may begin to close the distance between them.
