However, indulging in this local cuisine comes with an unexpected twist, as it carries a curse that transforms the eater into someone who can only communicate in Takogo, the language of octopuses. Joined by their friends Amelia, Zelgadiss, and the enigmatic Xelloss, the group soon discovers they've all fallen victim to this bizarre affliction.

As they grapple with their newfound communication challenges, the local octopus population takes matters into their own tentacles, enlisting the help of a powerful mazoku to rid the town of the troublesome humans. To combat this rising threat, Ruma, the white sorceress, embarks on a quest to reconnect with her long-lost master to uncover the secret to breaking the curse and restoring peace to Acassi. Adventure and humor intertwine as the heroes navigate this unusual predicament.
