Agerna, a planet abundant in the rare mineral Vizorium essential for space travel, finds itself embroiled in turmoil as a string of unexplained attacks on mining facilities leads to rising tensions among its governments. In response to the escalating crisis, the World Welfare & Works Association deploys its elite agents, known as the Dirty Pair, to uncover the truth behind the chaos.

As the charming duo delves deeper into the investigation, they encounter a diabolical scientist with plans to awaken a long-dormant alien race and push them to their ultimate evolutionary potential. Adding to the chaos is a cunning thief on a quest for a rare bottle of vintage wine from World War II.
